Our Values

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Discipleship

The Church is made of disciples of Jesus, who are actively making other disciples of Jesus who will in turn make disciples of Jesus. Disciple-making is not the Pastor’s job or someone else’s job. Every believer is called to go and make disciples. We focus on instilling four values as we mentor believers.

Identity - who we are as children of God

Intimacy - knowing God and pursuing a deeper relationship with Him

Obedience - the way God tells us to live; Word & Spirit

Partnership - doing what God is doing

Relationships

God is not distant. He is present and wants to have a relationship with each person. Our goal is to cultivate that relationship in our own lives and to help others grow in that relationship as well. Metrics for that relationship are God’s presence, voice, and power… As we develop a relationship with God, we also experience vibrancy and life in all of our other relationships: marriage, family, friendships, work… God wants to be present in all of them.

Kingdom

We’re not only interested in getting people into Heaven. We want to get Heaven into people. We are kingdom-focused, meaning that we keep the life and teaching of Jesus at the center of our mission. We believe that the Church should be doing the works of Jesus and proclaiming the words of Jesus.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is at the center of everything. We believe that Jesus is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

  • God

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

  • The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

  • The Enemy

We believe that there is an enemy who has waged war on mankind. Satan is trying to distract us from fulfilling our God-given purpose of showing all creation what the Father is like. Satan was defeated at the cross of Christ. The Church has authority over him.

  • The Separation

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

  • The Reconciliation

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and a fresh start with God, we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to His will for our lives.

  • The Church

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together. We believe that all followers can share in the continuing work of Jesus. Each one of us is qualified by the Holy Spirit that lives within, regardless of race, gender, and socioeconomic status.

  • The Power

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to make us more like Jesus and this world more like heaven.

  • Baptism

We believe that baptism in water is a sign in which believers declare their newfound life in Christ.

  • The Lord’s Supper (Communion)

We believe that sharing in the Lord’s Supper allows believers time to reflect on the sacrificial death of Jesus and serves as a platform to experience His grace in our lives.

  • The Good News

We believe that each of us is called to share the good news of God’s love with our family, our neighbors, our coworkers, and the world. We declare this in both word and deed, including generosity and humble service. Our goal is not only to get people into heaven but to get heaven into people.

  • The Return

We believe that a day is coming when Jesus will return to the earth to finish what He started. We want to be a church that represents Him well until then.

  • Heaven

We believe that Jesus has prepared a place in heaven for us. When a believer dies on earth he or she passes immediately into the presence of Christ.
